Spring Creek Barbeque at 270 North Central Expressway, Richardson, Texas.

We have been to most BBQ places in the Richardson area (a lot in Dallas, Plano, and Ft Worth too), and Spring Creek is the best. From the Brisket, ribs and turkey to the potato salad, beans, and condiments... and the fresh, hot (right out of the oven) mini-bread loaves. The food is aces.

The staff and management are usually smiling and make an effort to be friendly. Oh! Almost forgot the fresh fried okra... be sure to order it right away, as you are ordering your meat; it takes a few minutes to get it to your table (hey... it’s fried to order); you can even get it fried extra long for extra crispy, just like I like it... "Texas Popcorn" style. And the baked potatoes; alllll the way are pretty special too.

They do have fresh baked peach cobbler with ice cream that is also awesome, but with free refills on all the sides I never seem to have room left to put it.
